This cluster brings together 38 Indigenous scholars, faculty, staff, and graduate students from the University of British Columbia, Simon Fraser University, the University of Victoria, and the University of Northern British Columbia. The members come from diverse Indigenous community affiliations and extended networks beyond Canadian borders. Despite the inherent challenges of working interdisciplinary, our cluster has successfully built a strong community by fostering research collaboration and providing mentorship opportunities for all its members, including trainees, early, middle, and senior scholars, researchers, educators, community members and organizations.
